This scholarship was created by two Virginia State University Sophomores, Aaliyah Duah, and Yania Campbell, to provide greater opportunities and financial aid to young African-American women. Aaliyah Duah of Financial Revolutionn and Yania Campbell of HBCUYouth also seek to mentor eligible applicants to guide and help the young women evolve. This scholarship will serve as financial aid as well as a mentorship program throughout their College Experience.
The Duah Campbell Scholarship Fund (DCSF) is proud to offer financial assistance to students attending any Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) this coming Fall 2021 semester. The two scholars selected will receive $500 each and a business outfit. Funding is dedicated to building young women while allowing students to have aid towards college or a business idea. Funds are available until August 2021.
Eligibility:
- African American Woman
- Fall 2021 Incoming College Freshman
- Must be committing to an HBCU
There are two (2) opportunities available:
Black Women in Business Scholarship: Interested in majoring in Business Management & Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship.
Winner Selection: In Progress
Black Women in Politics & Social Justice Scholarship: Interested in Law, Political Science, History, English, Policy, Public Administration, Social Justice, and Activism.
