The Jamie Chung Scholars Program
Before she was a successful actress, Jamie was her parents’ American dream. As the daughter of two immigrants, she saw for herself the doors that a college education can open. Now, she looks to give back in ways where she can open those doors for the next generation of activists, entertainers, and creators.
The Jamie Chung Scholars Program is two scholarships for $5,000 each that will be awarded to 2 students who demonstrates passion in his/her/their respective field. To pay tribute to her fellow Asian and Pacific Island (AAPI) community, preference will be given to students hailing from AAPI descent; however, it is not required. This scholarship demonstrates Jamie’s commitment to giving back and her passionate support towards equal opportunity for all.
