For Scholarship Providers and Donors

General Questions

Under no circumstances will Scholarful sell scholarship providers’ data or students’ data. Scholarful protects its members’ personal information with the highest level of security; such information will only be used for the purposes of matching you with the most qualified applicants based on your scholarship criteria.
There is no fee to list scholarships for the first year of registering with Scholarful. After that, the cost is $60 per scholarship listing.
Scholarful does not guarantee a perfect match, however our technology will show your scholarship to the top eligible applicants. Additionally, we do not require your scholarship to be exclusive to our platform. You are still free to post your listing on other third party services, whether that be on multiple scholarship search engines or platforms, or none. The source from which the winner is selected is completely up to you.
Yes, you can add any existing opportunity to Scholarful; it does not need to be curated specifically for Scholarful registrants.
Since Scholarful is free for scholarship providers for the first year of registering, you won’t have to worry about receiving a refund. If for any reason you wish to cancel your membership, you can do so by visiting your account settings or reaching out to us directly at support@scholarful.com

Questions About Your Scholarship(s)

When your scholarship receives a new applicant, you will receive a notification in your dashboard, as well as via email.
Once you select the winner/s of your scholarship/s, your scholarship’s status will be changed and applicants can check the status in their student dashboard.
Scholarful’s advanced technology matches students with scholarships based on matching criteria and eligibility. Each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements which is based on specific criteria such as age, GPA, location, subjects of interest, ethnicity, and more. These requirements for eligibility are then cross-matched with student profiles if they meet the criteria.
No, this is completely optional. If you would like to include an essay as a required component, you can do so when setting up your scholarship.
As often as you’d like. There is no limit to how many scholarship listings you can make.
This totally depends on the terms and conditions carried out by your organization. If you select a winner through Scholarful, we will connect you with that student. Once you are connected with the winner/s, you are responsible for providing additional information regarding the student’s next steps and scholarship award transactions.

Traditionally, Scholarful's scholarship providers pay-out winners’ awards directly to their universities.
